St Francis enters its 12th season as a club, now with two teams in the
City of Southampton U18's league, who started out as minnows. We hope to build on the clubs historic successes and bring more silverware. Special achievements last season from U12 girls and U13 boys both winning league and cup doubles. Some achievement.

Additional on field success is not any price though, St Francis is very
proud of its community ethos and will continue to keep fun and pleasure
ahead of a win at all cost mentality. We provide football for over 300
young children, of all abilities; they can't all be David Beckham so the
club recognizes the importance of team & friendship building.

Acknowledged by the Professionals

In early 2002 we became the first club in Hampshire to be awarded the prestigious Football Association Charter Standard Development Club. All those in direct contact with the children have undertaken a course on child protection in addition to becoming qualified first-aiders. At weekends most of our parents watch the matches and we have a code of conduct for them as well as for the children. FA Charter
